SSMS teachers STORMed as they enhanced their knowledge about Learner-Centered Learning Environments! As a follow-up, SSMS Curriculum Leaders dissected high impact instructional strategies and will be taking that information back to their departments for planning. Our Amazing Hurricanes focused on the following learning targets:
  • Making connections with the instructional practice model and how all students learn.
  • Understanding how to utilize the instructional map in order to design standards based lessons at the appropriate level of complexity.
  • Understanding how content progresses through all three instructional design questions so that students are able to demonstrate learning at higher complexity levels.

SSMS ELA and Reading teachers tracked lowest quartile students’ FSA and iReady data in the WAR (We Achieve Results) room to guide instructional decisions! #STORM
